Richard Bard, Jr., 31, of Bridgeton died suddenly Sunday morning, April 17, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Richard was born in Bridgeton to Richard Bard, Sr. and Dana German-Bunton. He had been a Bridgeton resident all of his life. Richard had been previously employed as a fork lift operator with Seabrook Bros. and Sons. He loved listening to music and being with his family, especially his children. Besides his parents, he is survived by three children, Draziha’ Bard, Noah Lomax and Dramir Bard; three siblings, Reethel German of Bridgeton, Christopher E. Jenkins of Williamstown and Wanda German of Millville; his maternal grandmother, Reethel German of Bridgeton; his maternal great-grandmother, Unell Hatch of Bridgeton and his paternal grandfather, Marvin Ray Newsome of Lindenwold. He was preceded in death by a son, Drazir. Funeral services will be held at Union Baptist Temple, 30 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way on Thursday, April 28th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
