Obituary of Dorothy L. Miller

Dorothy L. Miller, 96, of Bridgeton passed away at her home under the care of her family and hospice on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. She was born in Wanamie, PA to the late Morgan Jones and Lillian Thomas Jones, she had been the wife of the late John E. Miller Jr. Dorothy moved to Millville in the 1940's and has been a Bridgeton resident since the 1950's. Prior to her retirement from Owens Illinois in Bridgeton, she had worked for Wheaton Glass and Armstrong Cork in Millville. In her free time, she loved to crochet, garden, read the Bible, and cook. She especially loved baking Christmas cookies of all different varieties. She also loved her home, and took pride in its care. She is survived by; two children, Yvone Pearl (Harold) of Vineland and Sandy Marcus (Doug) of Washington Twp.; three grandchildren, Jason Pearl, Aaron Pearl and Olivia Marcus; eight great-grandchildren, Morgan, Ashley, Aiden, Hosea, Sarah, Lauren, Kaleb; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by; her husband, John E. Miller Jr.; her parents, Morgan and Lillian Jones; and three siblings, Ezra, Jessie and Betty Jones.
