Obituary of LaRue Cheesman

LaRue Cheesman 86, of Bridgeton, passed away on Tuesday, March 5th at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland following a short illness . Born in New Bethlehem, PA to the late John Hoffman and Laura Neal Hoffman, she had resided in Cumberland County for over 60 years. She worked at Owens Illinois when she first moved to the area. Most of her working career she was an administer at group homes for the State of New Jersey. After retirement she enjoyed working part-time at Wal-Mart. LaRue was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Millville. In her free time she very much enjoyed spending time with family and friends. LaRue was also an animal lover. She was a very kind, caring and giving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by; her daughter, Debra DuBois; her brother, Ken Hoffman; her granddaughter, Rachael DuBois; and great grandchildren, Alivia Snodgrass and Gavin Gould. She was preceded in death by; her parents, John and Laura Hoffman; her brothers, John and Wayne Hoffman; and her great granddaughter, Emma Snodgrass.
