Obituary of Eva F. Dooley

Eva F. Dooley, age 85, of Seabrook passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Big Oak Health and Rehabilitation in Pittsgrove Township. Born in Saltville, VA she was the daughter of the late Milton Frye and Dolly Scssor Frye and the wife of the late Tom W. Dooley. She had been a Seabrook resident for 50 years and had come to the Bridgeton area in 1957 from Virginia. Eva retired from the Kimble Glass Company in Vineland in 1992. She had also formerly worked at Seabrook Brothers and Sons in Upper Deerfield Township, Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville and the Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton until its closing. She was a member of the Bridgeton Assembly of God Church and enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and going to yard sales and flea markets. Surviving are her sons, Tom W. Dooley, Jr. of Pennsville, Walter “Todd” Dooley (Tracy) of Stow Creek Twp. and Mark D. Dooley (Angela) of NC; three sisters, Glenna Wynegar, Janey Kestner and Mary Compton all of VA, 8 grandchildren and 1 great- grandson. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Dooley and ten siblings, Joe, Clyde, Franklin and Bud Frye and Violet Mink, Carol Heath, Linda DeBoard, Alice Moore, Betty Gieseck and Sally Rhea. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23rd at 11:00 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township.
