Obituary of Harley L. Baker, Sr.

Harley L. Baker, Sr., 92, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at his home. Born in Hiller, PA to the Glenn R. Baker and Gladys McIntosh Baker, he was the husband of the late Gazella Sabo Baker. Harley had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. since 1963 and prior to that he had resided in Shiloh. Harley was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. Before his retirement, he had been employed by Owens-Illinois Glass Co. for 29 years. He is survived by; his sister, Linda Astle of PA; his daughter in law, Bonnie Baker of Upper Deerfield Twp.; his granddaughters, Heather Garrison (Andrew) of Stow Creek and Hillary Baker (Christopher Conrow) of Portland, ME and his great-granddaughter, Savannah Garrison. He was preceded in death by; his wife, Gazella Baker and two children, Melody Lynn Baker and Harley L. Baker, Jr. Memorial Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, December 23 at 10 AM. Inurnment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 10 AM prior to the services.
