Obituary of Laura M. Hemple

Laura M. Hemple, 88, of Salem passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Inspira Medical Center, Salem. Born in Daretown to the late Norman Bell and Harriet Fox Bell, she had most recently resided in Salem but had previously lived in Pennsville and Quinton. Laura had been previously employed at the Val Mode Lingerie Co. in Bridgeton and she was a member of Friesburg Lutheran Church. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, spending time with her family and friends and listening to country music. She is survived by; her daughter, Linda Schaffer of Salem, four grandsons, Willard Hemple (Melissa) of Quinton, David Oliver of Woodstown, Jason Oliver (Tara) of Ohio, and Matt Hemple of LAC; four great-granddaughters, Kristina Hemple, Grace Oliver, Julie Hemple, and Emma Hemple; and one great-grandson Atlas Oliver. She was preceded in death by; her son, Willard Hemple, Jr., two sisters, Diane Ford and Norma Cahill; her brother, Norman Bell, Jr. and her grandson, Brian Schaffer.
