Obituary of Fritz A. Stuhl

Fritz A. Stuhl, III, 76, of Bridgeton, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at Bishop McCarthy Center in Vineland. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Fritz A. Stuhl Jr. and Eleanor Sime, he had been the husband of Iris Bertolini Stuhl. Having grown up in Millville, he had been a Cumberland County resident for the majority of his life. He attended college in West Virginia where he met his wife, Iris, and acquired a Bachelors degree. Fritz honorably served his country in the US Navy on the USS Roosevelt during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a carpenter and electrician by trade and had retired from South Woods State Prison as an electronics teacher. He had been a member of West Park Drive United Methodist Church, prior to that he had been a member of Pearl Street Baptist Church until its closing. He had been involved with Bridgeton Christian School for many years, and had been a volunteer firefighter for Bridgeton. He was a Mr. Fix-It, always working on a project, from cars to furniture and everything in between, spending the majority of his time in his workshop. Fritz also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his seven grandchildren. He is survived by; his wife, Iris Stuhl of Bridgeton; two daughters, Jennifer Boutros (Sam) and Kimberly Titus (Nick) both of Bridgeton; his sister, Kay Moore of NJ; step-siblings, Doug, Nancy, and David all of Massachusetts; and seven grandchildren, Tyler, Mark, Lila, Collin, Matthew, Ashley, and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fritz A. Stuhl, Jr. and Eleanor Sime. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp., on Wednesday, September 27th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11AM prior to the service. Internment will take place following the service at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery, Trench Road, Hopewell Twp., NJ 08302.
