Edward K. Bryant, 60, of Salem passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023 at his home. Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Edward E. Bryant and Dora Gould Bryant and had been a resident of Salem for the past five years. He had lived in Coatesville, PA and Port Norris prior to that. Edward was a veteran of the United States Army and had served his country during Operation Desert Storm. He had previously been employed at the Woodbine Developmental Center for many years and also worked as a truck driver. Edward enjoyed running and anything that was associated with physical fitness. Surviving are his nine siblings, Linda Faison, Beverly Stowe, Marcia Campbell, Michael Bryant, Jeffrey Bryant, Cathy Martin, Bruce Bryant, Eric Bryant and Cindy Bryant, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sheena Price and four brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 2411 Memorial Avenue, Port Norris on Wednesday, September 27th at 11:00 AM. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Township.
