Gary D. Bonner, Sr., 60, of Newfield passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

 

Born in Bridgeton to the late Albert H. Bonner and Ida Forman Bonner, he was the husband of Mary A. Jones Bonner. Gary had lived in Newfield for the past five years and prior to that he had resided in Millville. He had attended Salem Tech for auto mechanics training.

 

Prior to his retirement, Gary had been employed at Silk Waves in Bridgeton for several years. He had been previously employed at Sechler Foods in Franklin Twp. for six years. In his free time, Gary enjoyed working on cars, working on the exterior and interior of his home and fishing. He was a very family oriented person and loved spending time with them.

 

He is survived by; his children, Roshana Bonner of Bridgeton, Gary Bonner, Jr. of Bridgeton, Derrick Jones (Lashay) of Vineland, Tyneisha Jones of Vineland, Damion Jones of Millville, Akeem Graham of Newfield, Shatia Jones of Mllville and Brandon Jones of Vineland; his mother, Ida E. Stubbs-Forman of Bridgeton and 38 grandchildren. He was predeceased by; a daughter, Rochelle Bard, his father-in-law, Thomas Jones; a brother, Alvin H. Bonner and a sister, Rosenna Bonner.

 

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, August 6th at 2 PM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 1 PM to 2 PM prior to the services.
