Obituary of Jermaine L Febry

            Jermaine L. Febry, 36, of Deerfield Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland following an extended illness.

            Born in Bridgeton to Freddie Smith, Jr. and Linda Febry Peterson, he had been a resident of Bridgeton most of his life. Jermaine had resided in Deerfield Twp. for the past 17 years.

            He had been employed by AJM Co. in Vineland in packaging for a short time. Prior to that he had worked for F&S Produce in Rosenhayn for several years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Rosenhayn. In his free time, Jermaine enjoyed listening to music especially, Alby Al and playing poker of all kinds. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies and he enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years. Most of all, Jermaine loved spending time with his family and daughters including his aunts and cousin, David Cox.

            He is survived by his mother, Linda Peterson of Rosenhayn; his father, Freddie Smith, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL; his step-father, Craig Petetson of Bridgeton; two daughters, Jah'naisa Febry and Ja'yahni Febry; five siblings, Freddie Smith, III of Vineland, Keemon Febry of Rosenhayn, Terrance Brown of Vineland, Kahlif Brown of Rosenhayn and Brian Gould of Gouldtown and his grandmother, Delores Febry of Cedarville. He was preceded in death by; his aunt, Annette Bailey; his paternal grandparents, Freddie Smith, Sr. and Sarah Smith and his maternal grandfather, James Cox.

           The funeral service location has been changed to Union Baptist Temple, 29 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Bridgeton on Monday, August 27^th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
