Obituary of Christopher Gappa

            Christopher Gappa, 59, of Norma died on Saturday evening, December 30, 2017 at his home under the care of hospice and his family.

            Born in Bridgeton to the late David Gappa and Phyllis Martin Gappa, he was the companion of Terri Holmes. Christopher had lived in Norma for the past 10 years and prior to that he had resided in Bridgeton and Centerton.

            A mechanic by trade, he had been most recently employed at Omni Baking Company in Vineland. Christopher had been previously employed at Meineke in Vineland and Bordentown and Adams Auto Repair in Bridgeton. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. In his free time, Christopher enjoyed camping, fishing and dancing.

            He is survived by his companion, Terri Holmes of Norma; a son Michael Gappa; a brother, D. Jeffrey Gappa of Centerton; a sister, Maryleigh Walukiewicz of Centerton and four grandchildren.
