Obituary of Jan W. Orechwa

            Jan W. Orechwa, 70, of Bridgeton died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at his home.

            Born in Greven, Germany to the late Teodor Orechwa and Ludwika Sawicka Orechwa, he was the husband of Danuta Piotrowska Orechwa. Jan had lived in Bridgeton for the past 36 years and before that he had resided in Poland.

            Prior to his retirement, Jan had worked as a tank tender at Anchor Hocking Glass Co. in Salem.

            In addition to his wife Danuta, he is survived by his three children, Agnes Cyparska of PA, Dorota Orechwa of CA and Daria Orechwa of CA; three sisters, Eva DeHart and her husband, Harvey of Bridgeton, Henrietta Sabo of Bridgeton and Aggie Hall of Millville and two grandchildren. Jan was preceded in death by a sister, Sophia Rowe.
