Betty G. House, 76, of Cedarville died suddenly on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Bridgeton to the late Harold Adams and Mary Pedrick Adams, she was the wife of Linford W. House. Betty had been a resident of Cedarville most of her life. Betty deeply loved her family, children and grandchildren and was a mother to many. She and her daughter-in-law, Margie House were well know for running a haunted house in Cedarville hosting over 1500 children at a time in years past. She and her husband, Linford had celebrated 60 years of marriage on January 6th of this year. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three sons, Stephen House of Fairfield Twp., Michael House of Cedarville and David House of Upper Deerfield Twp.; two brothers, George Adams of Malaga and Frank Adams of Shiloh and three grandchildren, Stephanie House, Stephen House and Eric N. House. She was preceded in death by her son, Eric House; a brother, Harold Adams, Jr. and a grandson, Tyler House. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family with interment at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Betty's memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
