Obituary of Nancy Lynn Bacon

Nancy Lynn Bacon, 65, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden following an extended illness. Born in Pennsylvania to the late Edward Tyers and Alvina Brockmeyer Tyers, she was the wife of the late William Joseph Bacon who passed away in 1990. Nancy Lynn had been raised and grew up in Grenloch. She later lived in Collings Lakes before moving to Upper Deerfield Twp. in 2003 where she lived for the rest of her life. Prior to her illness, Nancy Lynn had worked on the custodial staff at Daretown School for about five years. Before that she had been a custodial supervisor at Monroe Twp. schools and several hotels in Ocean City. In her free time, she enjoyed adult coloring books, bird watching from her window, cooking and baking. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping at Tall Pines in Elmer with her family. Nancy Lynn also cherished time spent catching up with her girlfriends on the phone. She was in the fan club for the band, Alabama and enjoyed listening to Elvis. Surviving are her children, Traci Lynn Bacon of Upper Deerfield Twp. and William E. Bacon of Upper Deerfield Twp.; her grand-cat, Bootsie; a brother, Edward Tyers of Pensacola, FL and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Bacon and her beloved cats, April and Buddy. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
