Obituary of Tina M. Young

Tina M. Young, 54, of Upper Deerfield Twp, passed away under the care of Hospice at home with her family on Thursday, November 17, 2016. The daughter of the late Gerald Rupert and Irene Francio Rupert, she was the wife of William L. Young, Jr. She had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. for 44 years and had lived in Cedarville prior to that. Tina had most recently been employed as a Certified Nurse’s Aide at the New Jersey State Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland. Before that she had worked at Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Twp. She was a member of the Parish of the Holy Cross-Immaculate Conception Church in Bridgeton and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Meade-Woodward Post 1795 in Bridgeton. She enjoyed doing cross stitching and won First Place at the Cumberland County Fair for her work. In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by her son, David W. Young of Upper Deerfield Twp.; three sisters, Geraldine Rupert of Upper Deerfield Twp., Marian Gilson of Franklinville and Karen Sheppard of Stow Creek Twp. and two granddaughters, Cameryn Rose and Addison. She was predeceased by her son, Christopher G. Young in 2012. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, November 22nd at 4 PM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 3 to 4 PM prior to the services. The family asks that donations in Tina’s memory be made to the charity of one’s choice.
