Obituary of Emma Saunders

Emma Saunders, 72, of Cedarville died on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Born in Bridgeton to the late Paul J. Ridgeway, Sr. and Vella Cuff Ridgeway, she was the wife of the late Herman M. Saunders, Sr. Emma had been a resident of Cedarville for the past 49 years and before that she had lived in Fairton. Prior to her retirement, Emma had worked for Rennoc Manufacturing in Vineland. She is survived her daughter, Cheryl L. Saunders-Rodman and her husband, Scott of Lawrence Twp.; two grandchildren, Rosalyn Rodman and Scott Rodman both of Lawrence Twp.; a sister, Helen Morris of Cheswold, DE and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides her husband, Herman, she was preceded in death by her son, Herman M. Saunders, Jr. and a brother, Paul J. Ridgeway, Jr. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday October 27th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.
