Obituary of James R. Foor, Jr.

James R. Foor, Jr., 77, of Bridgeton passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Born in Lewistown, PA to the late James R Foor, Sr. and Joyce Quay Foor, he had been a Cumberland County resident since the age of four. James served his country proudly in the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He had most recently been employed with Walmart as a photo technician, prior to that he had worked for over 10 years for Sony. James was a proud veteran who was part of numerous Veteran Affairs activities and programs, always wanting to help other veterans. He was also a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling, reading, science fiction, music, drawing, and writing poetry and songs. He is survived by; his children, Justin Foor, Jr. (Melinda), Corey Foor (Carolynn), Sagan Hague (Jayson), and Noeleen Foor; three brothers, Wade Foor, Frank Foor, and Bruce Foor; four nieces and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by; his parents, James R. Sr. and Joyce Foor; and one sister, Laura Simione. Services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
