Q: How did you meet Kathy?
A: I met Kathy at NJ Blackbelt Association Dojo where my son Ethan took karate with her youngest son RJ. Over the years I had the privilege of friendship with the most beautiful human being that was Kathy. A nurse by trade, a gift from God, our friendship grew and I consider her family as she did as well. Always smiling through her pain, she was strong, caring, positive, genuine, and stubborn (can’t leave out stubborn!). Kathy had a heart of gold. As the matriarch of her family, her world revolved around her family. Kathy was the sister I never had, a best friend and crutch when she needed it. She was more concerned about others being happy than herself. She fought long and hard again renal cell cancer but ultimately it got the best of her. Till we meet again girlfriend-see you on the other side where we can get in trouble once again.
