Obituary of Janet A. Hickman

Janet A. Hickman, 77, of Bridgeton passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Millville to the late Warrick Robbins and Ella Hunter Robbins, she had been the wife of Leroy Hickman, Sr. She had been a Bridgeton resident since 1973, prior to that she had lived in Port Norris. She had worked at Wheaton Glass in Millville for a few years but spent the majority of her time dedicated to raising her family and caring for her home. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Janet had a deep love for animals of all kinds but especially cats. She also enjoyed going out to eat, listening to Elvis, taking short trips to Lancaster and traveling to Tennessee when she was able. She is survived by; her husband, Leroy Hickman, Sr. of Bridgeton; two sons, Leroy Hickman Jr. and Ed Hickman, Sr. (Chasity Williams) of TN; a sister, Lynn Robbins of Vineland; and her grandchildren, Eddie Hickman, Jr., Abigail Fazzolari, Addison Hickman and Hailey Hickman. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Warrick and Ella Robbins; and her siblings, Diane Robbins and Warrick Robbins, Jr. A celebration of Janet's life will be held at a later date.
