Vivian V. Smith, 87, of Upper Deerfield Township passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton, she was the wife of the late Charles L. Smith and the daughter of the late Alfred Schmidt and Marion Ledden Schmidt. She was a lifetime Upper Deerfield Township resident. Vivian loved going to church and was a lifetime member of the Bridgeton First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed trips to Lancaster, camping and spending time with her family, especially her sister, Dorothy. She is survived by her two daughters, Denise McDermott of Stow Creek and Karen Allen (James) of Fairfield Township; two sons, Dennis Smith (Janet) of Mays Landing and Steven Smith (Janet) of Upper Deerfield Township and a sister, Betty Cain of AZ along with 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kristine Smith, her brother, Alfred Schmidt, Jr. and her sisters, Helen Shockley and Dorothy Allman. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Saturday, February 8th at 11:00 AM. A visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township.
