Lisa Jones, 52, was called home to be with the Lord after a tough battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She was born in Bridgeton, NJ on February 14, 1970 to Clarence A. Young Jr. and Mary K. Fisher. Lisa spent her childhood in Port Norris, NJ before moving to Millville, NJ where she resided until five months ago when she become ill and moved in with her daughter. Lisa was known for her big sense of humor and knowing how to keep everyone smiling no matter what. She was a great cook and always willing to share anything she had with anyone. Lisa had such a big heart and she made sure to express her love to her loved ones every chance she got. She always made sure she ended any conversation, good or bad, with an I love you. Everyone always laughed at how big her appetite was although she was so thin. She made sure she had a snack everywhere she went no matter what she was doing. Even down to her last days she never lost her appetite or her spunk. She always made sure she said what came to her mind and ended her statements with her famous line “THAT PART”. Some of her favorite things to do were sing, dance, and hang out with her friends at the “campground”. Lisa is predeceased by her grandmothers, Florence Jones and Lydia Harden and her uncle Rayfield Jones. She leaves to cherish her memories; her parents, Clarence Young Jr and Mary Fisher (Maurice Langston), both of Millville, NJ; her children; Porsche Jones of Vineland, NJ., Mercedes Jones and Robert Jones of Millville, NJ., and her bonus daughter Anita Scott of Bridgeton, NJ.; her siblings, Evelyn Young of Millville, NJ., Clarence Young 3rd (Charmelle) of Florence, SC., Eric Young of Ohio, Danielle Young of Ohio, Isimae Johnson of Vineland, NJ., Erica Fisher of Millville, NJ., George Jones of Millville, NJ., and a bonus sister, Tazz Fisher of PA.; she also leaves to cherish her grandson A’mir Todd-Jones of Millville, NJ.; and her bonus grandchildren, Dorian Harris, De’Von Harris, and Kayden Scott all of Bridgeton, NJ; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Miracle Temple, 1409 East Main St., Millville at 12 NOON. Friends and family will be received at the church from 10 AM to 12 PM prior to the services. Interment will immediately follow the services and take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Twp..
