Quamere T. Redding, 29, of Salem passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Salem Medical Center. Born in Camden to Norman Lee Stubbs and Tonya Redding Stubbs, he had been a resident of Salem for several months and prior to that he had spent most of his life in Bridgeton. Quamere had attended Bridgeton and Vineland public schools. Quamere loved to play basketball. He was a member of the Felton Lingo Junior Division in 2005. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and would often tell his mother “Make sure you tell my family I love them”. Quamere leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Norman and Tonya Stubbs; his fiancé, Takia McRae; one step-daughter, Aubrey McRae; one god-son, Donald Scurry III; three sisters, Lashawn & Natisha Redding and Sharona Stubbs; three brothers, Norman Lee Stubbs Jr, Norman Redding, and Briyyaan Burden; his paternal grandmother, Meraldine Smith; his Aunt, Melony Powell; a special cousin, Rashad Redding; two best friends, Donald Scurry Jr. & Jason Cheeks; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Quamere is predeceased by his maternal grand-parents, Wilfred Horace Colson & Polly Rozier; his maternal great-grandmother, Ruby Rozier; and his maternal great-great grandmother, Leola Rozier who lovingly named him “Bo Diddy.” Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. from 9 AM to 11 AM on Monday, August 17th.
