Obituary of Robert "Bob" D. Schultz, Jr.

Robert D. “Bob” Schultz, Jr., 61, of Downe Twp. died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 2, 2018 following an extended illness.

Born in Durban, South Africa to the late Robert D. Schultz, Sr. and Marjorie Wilcke Schultz where they served as missionaries. Bob was the husband of Deanna Knipe Schultz. He had been a resident of Newport for the past 16 years after moving to the United States in the mid 1970's when he attended the Philadelphia College of Bible.

Bob had been employed with Lowe's in Millville for over 17 years as a department manager. He had also worked for Lennox in Mays Landing as a supervisor for 21 years. In his free time, Bob enjoyed fishing, playing penny poker with his friends and eating out at many local restaurants with his wife, Deanna.

He is survived by; his wife Deanna Schultz of Newport; his daughter, Jennifer Zimmerman and her husband, Jonathan of Yardley, PA; his twin grandchildren, Jaxon and Jordyn; his siblings, Sue Pappas and her husband, Mike of Knoxville, TN, Sharon Pinkerton and her husband, John of Upper Pittsgrove Twp., David Schultz and his wife, Karen of Pompton Plains and Sally Gruber and her husband, Roy of Utah and several neices, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Saturday, September 8th at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a charity of one's choice in Bob's memory.
