John A. Shiavo III, 63, of Lawrence Twp. died on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at his home under the care of hospice.
Born in Brynmawr, PA to the late John A. Shiavo, Jr. and Theresa Micomonico Shiavo, he was the husband of Jean Boyle Shiavo. John moved to Atlantic City in 1983 and then to his horse farm in Cedarville in 1992 where he lived for the rest of his life.
Prior to his retirement, John had been a car salesman for over 30 years at several local dealerships including; Auto Max in Mapleshade and Runnemede, Metro Auto Group in Lawnside and Art Linse Dodge in Mount Holly. Before that he had been a Union Plumber working out of Local #690 in Philadelphia, PA. In his free time, John had enjoyed raising horses and dogs on the farm and playing golf.
He is survived by; his wife, Jean Shiavo of Cedarville; his son, Tom Shiavo and his wife, Amanda of Vineland; his brother, James Shiavo of Egg Harbor Twp.; his sister, Joyce Shiavo of Chester County, PA; his nephews, Nicholas Shiavo and Alex Shiavo and a niece, Jacqueline Finnegan of Upper Darby, PA. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Finnegan.
