Kellie Ann Cerato-Gilliam, 53, of Pittsgrove Twp. passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at her home. Born in Ridley Park, PA to Charles L. Cerato and the late Margaret A. McAlpin Cerato, she had been a resident of Pittsgrove Twp. most of her life but had traveled and lived different places all over the US. She had attended Arthur P. Schalick High School. Kellie had been previously employed at the former Mater Dei Nursing home in Elmer as a cook for over 8 years until their closing. In her free time, she enjoyed; crabbing in Fortescue, cooking, socializing and crochetting. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and always being there to help others in need. Kellie was also an animal lover. Most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren who affectionately knew her as “Moo Moo”. She is survived by; her daughter, Hannah G. Gilliam of Pittsgrove Twp.; her father, Charles L. Cerato; her sisters, Karen Marie Weis of Salem, Cheryl Ann Cerato of Smithville and Charlene Louise Waddell of Wall Twp.; her fiance, Remont Reaves; her grandchildren, Laila and McKenna and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Denny Gilliam; her mother, Margaret Cerato; her maternal grandparents, Jake and Dorris Waltz and her paternal grandparents, Charles C. and Angela T. Cerato. Memorial Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday June 1st at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Lawrence Twp. following the services.
