Harold Jef “Teddy” Jamison, much loved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and avid sports fan. He was born January 25, 1949, to Jason (Jake) and Carrie Bush Jamison and raised “back the lane” in Port Norris, NJ. Teddy attended Commercial Township School in grades K-8. From there, he attended Millville High School where had a stellar football career. Teddy was employed by Wheaton Glass Company in Millville for 34 years until his retirement. After his retirement he worked for Elwyn Vineland for 8 years. Teddy joined Shiloh Baptist Church at an early age and was baptized by Reverend Surgeon Donaldson. Teddy passed away suddenly on Friday, December 9, 2022. He is predeceased by his parents, Jason “Jake” and Carrie Bush Jamison and brother, Jerry Jamison. Teddy leaves to cherish his memories: Daughter, Eboni (James Hitchens) Jamison, Sons: Michael Langley; Harold (Jennifer) Bodden; Brothers: Richard (Phyllis) Jamison; Fletcher (Darlene) Jamison; Sisters: Mary (Johnnie) Green, Blanche (Jason) Laws: His forever companion, Laura Reaves and daughters Nikia Reaves and Brandy Reaves; Grandchildren: James, Jr., Ivorianna, Skyler, E’myja: Godson, Marlon Coursey; three Aunts: Mrs. Edith Selby, Mrs. Mary Bridges, and Mrs. Elise Hudgon, and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Services to celebrate Teddy’s life will be Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Shiloh Baptist Church, Memorial Ave., Port Norris, NJ officiated by Reverend Dr. James A. Dunkins. A viewing will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. and the celebration at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Haleyville Cemetery, Haleyville, NJ.
