Ellsworth Charles Williams Sr. also known as “Ellsie” and “Pops” 61, of Bridgeton, passed away on September, 20th, 2022. Ellsworth was born in Bridgeton to the late Leon H. Williams Sr. and Charlotte Pierce Williams and was a resident of Bridgeton all of his life. In his free time, Ellsworth enjoyed fishing, going to the casinos, playing pool, drawing, dancing, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. Ellsworth also spent his time volunteering at the Salvation Army and worked at Tracy’s Corner in Bridgeton. He leaves to cherish his memory his four children, Ellsworth C. Williams Jr. of Millville, Tamyra Cottman of Vineland, Shamere Williams of Vineland, and La’el Harold of Fairfield Twp.; 11 grandchildren, Te’Angelo, Tanyra, Shaplle, Brandon, Ellsworth III, Mekhi, Marquise, Mahogany, Ahnya, Ty’Zier, and Tyrell Jr.; 7 siblings, Leon H. Williams Jr. of Bridgeton, Emma Williams, of Bridgeton, Tyrone Williams of Bridgeton, Robert “Oldman” Williams Sr. of Fairfield Twp., Harriet Johnson of Bridgeton, Edward Williams Sr. of Bridgeton, and Chester Williams Sr. of Bridgeton. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Dorothy Baine and Lucinda Small and one grandchild, Brandon. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
