Robert J. Bogol, 80, of Pittsgrove Township passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. The son of the late John Kermes and Catherine Bogol, he was born in Lafayette County, Pennsylvania and was the husband of the late Janet Marsh Bogol. He had been a Pittsgrove township resident for 56 years and had lived in Bridgeton prior to that. Before his retirement, Robert had been employed as a boiler operator with the Campbellās Soup Company in Camden. He had also previously been employed with the West Company in Millville many years and the Owens- Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton. He enjoyed mechanics and tinkering along with antique cars and car shows. He also raised poultry and especially enjoyed raising pheasants. Surviving are his daughters, Roxanne Garrison of Vineland and Shelly Cunningham (Scott) of Pittsgrove; four grandchildren, Nicole Garrison-Rossiter, Kyle Garrison, Kelsey Jeskey and Jessica Cunningham and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Janet, he was predeceased by his son, Robert J. Bogol, Jr., his brother, Steve Bogol and his sister, Jean House. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Monday, April 25th at 11:00 AM. A visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Olivet Cemetery in Pittsgrove Township.
