Minister Ellie Marie Holley was born in 1933 in the county of Accomack County, Virginia to the late Henry Holley and Elnora Barker. She moved to New Jersey at an early age where she attended Bridgeton Public Schools. She worked at Ritter's in Bridgeton, NJ. and as a caregiver for the Leyman family. The majority of her life has been in ministry, after being ordained by Dr. Edith Moreno, of Faith Tabernacle of Deliverance church in Vineland, NJ. Minister Ellie was also a fulltime mother to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and her community. Minister Ellie departed this life on Thursday, September 23 2021, at home in Bridgeton, NJ. Her beautiful life will be cherished in the lives of her 4 children; Larry Holley of Bridgeton, NJ; Dennis Holley of Camden, NI: Leon (Brenda) Holley of Bridgeton, NT; Reggie Holley of Bridgeton, NJ; 2 brothers George Holley of Hopewell and William (Laura) Holley; 33 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughters Sandra Sistrunk, Dorothy Holley, Regina Holley, Juanita Holley; son Michael Holley; sisters Annie Lockett, Minnie Holley, Hazel Holley; brothers Robert Holley and James Holley. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality she was loved by many, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
