Obituary of James Buster Moore

James Buster Moore, Sr., 71, of Fairfield Twp. died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at his home under the care of Hospice. Born in Bybee, TN to Georgia Lovell Moore of Fairfield Twp. and the late R.C. Moore, he was the husband of Dolores Bennett Moore. He had been a Fairfield Twp. resident for 48 years and had lived in Rosenhayn and Shiloh prior to that. Buster and Dolores would have celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary this coming June. Buster had worked as a truck driver most of his life covering ground with Chiarelli Transport, Fairfield Pallet Co., Blue Diamond Transport, Watkins Trucking and the Motor Cargo Co. A member of Teamsters Union Local 676-Pennsauken, he was an avid motorcyclist and radio controlled airplane, car and truck enthusiast. In addition to his wife, Dolores and mother, Georgia, he is survived by his four children, Lisa E. Moore of Johnstown, NY, Patricia Tomlinson of Cedarville, James B. Moore, Jr., of Hopewell Twp. and Jessica Moore of Galloway Twp.; his sister, Frances Merritt of Morristown, TN, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday evening, May 6th at 7 PM. Friends will be received from 5 to 7 PM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Buster’s memory be made to Inspira Hospice, 1138 East Chestnut Ave., Bldg. 3, Vineland, NJ 08360.
