Shirley Printz, 78, of Stow Creek Twp. died following an extended illness on Wednesday morning, January 27, 2016 at her home under the care hospice. Born in Bridgeton to the late Charles “Chick’ Frazier and Anna Maines Frazier, she was the wife of Arthur J. “Jim” Printz. Shirley had lived at Smokey Hill Air Force Base in Selena, Kansas for one year while Jim was in the service but other than that she had been a Bridgeton area resident all of her life. Prior to her retirement, Shirley had owned and operated Cumberland Engraving in Bridgeton with her husband for over 20 years. She had also been employed by Bridgeton Travel Trailer and Garrison’s Hatchery in Bridgeton for a few years. She was a graduate of Bridgeton High School Class of 1955, where she played basketball. Shirley also spent time with her classmates at their “Girls Club” who met once a month for lunch. She believed her God given talent was helping others in need and was a motherly figure to many. In her free time, she was an avid bowler and enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. Shirley had attended Pearl Street Baptist Church in Bridgeton. Besides her husband Jim, she is survived by a daughter, Gail Mazza and her husband, Garry of Stow Creek Twp.; two grandchildren, Kristopher Mazza and his wife, Amy of Vineland and Jaime Gomez and her husband, Oscar of Vineland; two sisters, Janice Scull of Bridgeton and Elaine Nieukirk of Marlton and five great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Kristian, Emilia, Kolten and Silas. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Heather Mazza, a brother, Herman Frazier and a sister, Jean Kille. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, February 2nd at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.
