Obituary of Joana Brandriff

Joana Brandriff, 78, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Born in Virginia to the late Harvey Edward Crowell and Jane Hess Crowell, she was the wife of the late Joseph “Russ” Brandriff. Joana had been a resident of Millville most of her life. She had previously been employed by the former West Company in Millville for several years and was a member of the Fairton Christian Center in Fairfield Twp. In her free time, she and her late husband, Russ enjoyed browsing local yard sales and flea markets. Surviving are her brother, Gregory Crowell of North Augustus, South Carolina, a sister-in-law, Ruby Nutz and her husband Manuel of Upper Deerfield Township and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many other family members. Besides her husband “Russ”, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Cossaboon Marley and three brothers, Arthur Griffith, Jonah Griffith and Harvey Lee Crowell. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, January 28th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Centerton Free Will Baptist Cemetery in Pittsgrove Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
