Susan J. Donnelly, age 58, of Upper Deerfield Township died Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Eagleview Center in Pittsgrove Township following a one year period of declining health. A Bridgeton resident for most of her life, Sue had resided in Upper Deerfield Township for the past three years with her sister, Patricia "Patti" Rogers and her husband Dave Rogers. Born in Bridgeton on April 13, 1953 she was the daughter of the late James M. Donnelly and Shirley Wangstrom Donnelly. A 1971 graduate of Bridgeton High School, she had been employed with Cumberland County as a driver with the CATS transportation system and had also previously worked at Wheaton Glass Company in Millville and in the transportation department at Cesar's Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Upper Deerfield Township Fire Company # 3. In addition to her sister, Patti, she is survived by two nephews, David J. Rogers and his wife Beth of Upper Deerfield Township and Jeffrey M. Rogers of Upper Deerfield Township, a great-nephew, David James Rogers, Jr. and many cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her companion, Gloria Davis. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Thursday evening, September 22nd at 7 PM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 6 to 7 PM prior to the services. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township. The family requests that those attending please come in casual dress.
