Kenneth E. Heintz, 65, of Hopewell Twp., died unexpectedly on Saturday July 18, 2015 at Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill. Born in Rochester, NY to the late Kenneth C. Heintz and Alice M. Toole, he was the husband of Lori McFadden Heintz. After living in Florida, Hawaii and Japan, Kenneth moved to Blackwood in 1990. Shortly after that he met his wife and settled down in Hopewell Twp. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Hawaii and Japan during the Vietnam War as an air traffic controller. He was also a member of the American Legion. Kenneth had been employed by the New Jersey Department of Labor in the Vineland office as a Mine Safety Trainer for the past 12 years. In his free time, he enjoyed playing the bass guitar but most of all he loved his job. He is survived by; his wife Lori Heintz of Hopewell Twp.; two sons, Colin Heintz and his wife Lou Ann of Hopewell Twp. and Jordan Heintz of Hopewell Twp. and six brothers and sisters including, Peter Heintz and his wife Lisa of Williamstown. Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, July 23rd at 7 PM.
