Jonah L. Smith, 39, of Bridgeton died on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home under the care of Hospice. Born in Bridgeton to Debra Clark McDermott and the late Charles L. Smith, he was the husband of Mary Jane Naabe Feaster. He had been a resident of the Bridgeton area all of his life. Jonah had worked as a self employed carpenter by trade. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, playing golf and shooting pool. In addition to his wife Mary Jane, and his mother and step-father, Debra and William McDermott he is survived by his grandmother, Lear Wolfer of Alloway Twp. and a step-son, John C. Feaster of Upper Deerfield Twp. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, July 7th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Centerton Free Will Baptist Cemetery in Pittsgrove Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services.
