William Henry "Bill" Eppinger, 76, of Upper Pittsgrove Township went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 18, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born in Franklinville at home and was the son of the late John Henry and Lillian Ruth Eppinger (nee Hess). He graduated from Clayton High School in 1956 and was a lifelong truck driver, most recently with C. Harrell Trucking in Elmer until he became disabled. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sandra Joan Eppinger (nee Clark) of Elmer; his adoring daughters, Pamela Beth Hurff (John) of Monroeville and Patricia Ruth Uhland (Harold) of Bridgeton; two granddaughters who were the apple of his eye, Alison Beth Uhland of Bridgeton and Faith Patricia Hurff of Monroeville; three grandsons, Johnson Edward Hurff of Monroeville, Jason Robert Hurff of Bridgeton, and Harold Mark Uhland of Williamsport, PA; one dearly loved sister, Joan Ruth Taccard (nee Eppinger) of Williamstown; and many loving nieces and nephews. Bill was a devoted husband and father and his family loved him dearly. A fan of NASCAR, bluegrass music, science, and all animals, Bill was known for his honesty and faithfulness. He will be sorely missed and remembered forever by his family. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, May 21st at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Olivet Cemetery in Pittsgrove Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridgeton Christian School, 27 Central Avenue, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
