Obituary of William N. Holland

William N. Holland, 76, of Bridgeton died on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Port Norris to the late Hezekiah Holland, Sr. and Josephine (Moore) Holland Taylor, he was the husband of Irene Ferguson Holland. William had been a resident of Bridgeton for the past 25 years and prior to that he had lived in Millville. Prior to his retirement, he had worked at the Vineland Developmental Center. He attended John Wesley United Methodist Church in Port Norris. Besides his wife, Irene, he is survived by two sons, Emmett Martin and his wife Theresa of Millville and Chauncy Norton of Millville; a sister, Clementine C. Aponte of Millville; two brothers, Hezekiah Holland, Jr. of Millville and Craig Wise of Millville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Isaac, Kenneth and Thelbert Holland. Funeral services will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church, Ogden Ave., Port Norris on Saturday, May 2nd at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the services.
