Obituary of Arminda S. Peterson

Arminda S. Peterson, 81, of Millville died Friday, February 20, 2015 at Cooper Hospital in Camden. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late John Shultz and Eva Banks Shultz and was the wife of the late Frank L. Peterson. Born in Shirley, she had been a Millville resident for 16 years and prior to that had lived in Centre Grove. Mrs. Peterson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church on the Maurice River in Millville, the Millville Historical Society and a member and former Board Member of the Cumberland County Historical Society. She was also a former member of the “Friends of Batsto”. She is survived by her three children, Frank L. Peterson and his wife Ann of East Vineland, Frederick J. Peterson and his wife Normandie of Centre Grove and Linda A. Penka of Millville, along with her three granddaughters, Melinda, Holly and Sara. She was predeceased by two sisters, Gertrude Diament and Sara Starkey and two brothers, Lewis Shultz and Wilmur “Bill” Shultz. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial taking place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville.
