Nathaniel Glass, 78, of Millville passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at his home following an extended illness. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the companion of Dee Gilmore. He moved to the Millville area in the early 1950’s where he was a resident for most of his life. Prior to his retirement in 2010, “Nate” had worked as a truck driver for many years under Tony Sparacio, Sr., Anthony Sparacio and most recently Sparacio/Maple Valley Farms. His passion was his gospel singing group the “Faithful Jubilees”. He had been a member of Deerfield Baptist Church. He loved his children and family above all. He is survived by; his companion Dee Gilmore of Millville; five daughters, Mae Willie Johnson of Vineland, Pearl Kinchen of Brotmanville, Gladys Mclean of Millville, Yulinda Gilmore of Millville and Georgina Gilmore of Salem; eight sons, John Mutcherson of Vineland, Jesse Mutcherson of Brotmanville, Forrest Dixon of Bridgeton, Kenneth Dixon of Bridgeton, Benny Dixon of Vineland, Christopher Smart of Balitmore, MD, Jimmie Mclean of Glassboro and Daniel Gilmore, Jr. of Vineland and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Talisa Gilmore. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Saturday, January 31st at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
