Mildred H. Scull, 103, of Millville, formerly of Hopewell Twp., died on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Genesis Millville Center. Born in Bridgeton to the late John Harvey and Lena Foster Harvey, she was the wife of the late George L. Scull, Jr. Mildred had been a lifetime resident of the Bridgeton area. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as an office manager for Cumberland Mutual Insurance Co. She had also previously worked at Hunts foods, formerly Pritchard Foods in Bridgeton. Mildred had been a Life Member of Soroptomist International and she was the oldest living member of Pearl Street Baptist Church in Bridgeton. She is survived by; a son, George L. Scull, III of Hopewell Twp., a sister Dorothy Tompkins of Hopewell Twp., three grandchildren, William G. Scull and his wife Bonnie, Michael G. Scull and his wife Gloria and Jill McKenna and her husband John and three great-grandchildren, William Scull, Shanei Scull and Nicholas Scull. She was preceded in death by; two sisters, Pearl Simmerman and Emma Opperman and three brothers, Walter Harvey, Nelson Harvey and Raymond Harvey. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 22nd at Fernwood Memorial Park, 794 Shiloh Pike, Bridgeton at 11 AM.
