Dorothy M. Morgan, 94, of Vineland died on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in New York City to the late Philip House and Margaret Sullivan House she was the wife of the late Joseph J. Morgan. She had lived in Vineland for the past 47 years and before that she had been a resident of Cedarville. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Morgan had been self-employed as a housekeeper for different area families through the years. She is survived by two daughters, Joann Messick of Hopewell Twp. and Linda Morgan of Vineland; a son, Herbert Morgan and his wife Christine of Vineland; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Joseph, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene House and three sisters, Ann Cavalero, Margaret Chapius and Lucille Steever. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, Nov. 13th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Mrs. Morgan’s memory be made to the Newport United Methodist Church, 134 Methodist Road, Newport, NJ 08345.
