Mary E. Ward passed away on October 15, 2014. She was the widow of the late Clarence P. Ward who died in 1973. In addition to her husband, Mary was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Bertha (nee Haines) Giberson, her sister Dorothy Ellis and her brother, Russell Giberson. Also preceding her in death were two grandchildren, Douglas Ford and Lesley Mathis and two great-granddaughters, Brittany Holmes and Natalie Christian. Survivors include her four daughters, Berneice Grotti of Millville, Reva Christian of Fairton, Janet Ford and Gail Ward both of Bridgeton; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, Earl Giberson of Maple Shade, Harry Giberson and his wife Catherine of Moorestown and Albert Giberson of Arkansas. Mary was an excellent homemaker who cherished her home and yard. She always kept her house and yard impeccably clean. She was also an avid baker who’s specialties were pumpkin pie, lemon meringue pie, cream puffs, crullers, coconut cake and Christmas cookies. In her earlier years, she had participated in several local bowling leagues and assisted in duties at the Masonic Lodge with her husband, Clarence. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling with friends and family. Funeral services were held privately at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
