Doris Palm Finley, 88, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died on Friday, October 10, 2014 at her home following an extended illness. Born in Riverton to the late John Palm and Della Crammer Palm, she was the wife of the late Wesley G. Finley, Jr. Doris had been an Upper Deerfield resident most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had worked on the family farm and as a bookkeeper at Finley’s Used Cars. Doris was a founding member of the Centerton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Before that she had been a member of the Bridgeton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. In her free time, she and her late husband were avid card players with friends and enjoyed traveling together in their RV. She is survived by; a nephew, Jack Palm of Upper Deerfield Twp.; two great-nieces, Michelle Athey of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Christina Munyon of Bridgeton and two great-nephews, Donald Palm, Jr. of Willowgrove and Scott Palm of Pittsgrove Twp. Memorial services will be held at the Centerton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 26 Husted Station Rd., Bridgeton on Friday, October 17th at 7 PM. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
