Robert K. Moore, 92, died Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the Eagleview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pittsgrove. Born in Fairton, he was the son of the late Kelsey Moore and Estella Strang Moore and the husband of the late Beatrice Buckley Moore. He was a Bridgeton area resident most of his life. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed in the Maintenance Dept. at the former Val Mode Lingerie Co in Bridgeton but for many years was a self employed contractor owning and operating Robert Moore Homes of Distinction. A former Bridgeton High School pole vaulting champion, he was a member of the South Jersey Artists Association and Berean Baptist Temple. He was a former member of First Baptist Church in Bridgeton for many years. After the death of his wife Beatrice, his hobby became painting. Surviving are his two daughters, Barbara M. DuBois and her husband Rev. Jack DuBois of Stow Creek Twp. and Janet K. Moore of Cherry Hill; two grandchildren, Stephen DuBois and his husband Tom Steinfeld of Syracuse, NY and Michele Pedalino and her husband Dominick of Mays Landing. He was predeceased by his son, Robert K. Moore, Jr. Memorial services will be held at Berean Baptist Church, 68 Vine St, Bridgeton, NJ 08302 on Saturday, November 8th at 3pm. Friends will be received at the church from 2:30 to 3:00 pm prior to the services.
