Obituary of Vincent J. Spatola

Vincent J. Spatola, 29, of Fairfield Twp. passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township following an extended illness.

Vincent was born in Bridgeton to John P. Spatola, Sr. and Diana Paynter Spatola. He had been a lifetime resident of Fairfield Twp.

Vincent graduated from Cumberland Regional High School in 2007 and had attended Fairfield Twp. schools. In his free time, Vincent enjoyed playing video games especially the NBA 2k series, Madden, Call of Duty and the WWE games. He enjoyed listening to Classic Rock and Metal music and his favorite bands were Disturbed, Slipknot and Metallica. Vincent attended the Mayhem concert series for many years. His family described him as having an “old soul”.

He is survived by; his parents, John P. Spatola, Sr. and Diana Paynter Spatola of Fairfield Twp.; his siblings, John Spatola, Jr. of Milliville, Samuel Spatola of Millville, Samantha Hickman of Millville and Miranda Roberts of Pennsgrove; his nieces and nephews, Skylar, Samuel, Isabella, Alyvia, Faith, Leilani, and Breanna; his aunt, Valerie Holden of Fairfield Twp. and his cousin, Stephanie Holden of Fairfield Twp. He was preceded in death by; his paternal grandparents, Samuel Spatola and Josephine Hustedde and his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Bonnie Paynter.

A gathering of friends and family will take place at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, April 20th from 6 PM to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Vincent's memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association at www.mdausa.org.
