Tanner Toft

Obituary of Tanner Toft

Tanner J. Toft, 30, of Philadelphia, PA and formally of the Bridgeton area died unexpectedly on March 30, 2018, in Philadelphia.

Tanner was born to Joni Resides and Bryan Toft on July 16, 1987.  He grew up in the Bridgeton area and graduated from Cumberland Regional High School in 2005.  He later graduated from the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a Film Degree.

Tanner had worked with Designer Wraps in Millville and Apple Graphics in Buck’s County, where his artistic eye and talented hands transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary.  Tanner was in the process of launching his own business, Vinyl Alchemist Masters.

Tanner was an avid skateboarder and loved to camp and be surrounded by nature.  He was always in the midst of various creative projects for himself and others.  Music was a huge part of his life as well; he taught himself to play the harmonica and had quite a collection of them.  He truly danced like no one was watching.

Tanner is survived by his mother Joni Resides of St. Louis, MO; his father Bryan Toft of Holland, PA; step-father, Russell Hull of Fairfield, NJ; a sister, Jordan Toft of St. Louis, MO; a grandfather, Gerald Toft of Holland, PA; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins that all loved him dearly.  Tanner was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Patricia (Blew) Toft, Grandparents, John and Jean (Stewart) Resides, and Uncles, David Toft and Jack Wolcott.

A memorial service to celebrate Tanner will be held at the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp., on Saturday, April 7th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
