            Darlene L. Jones, 73, of Millville passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

            The daughter of the late William Barber, Jr. and Eleanor Thomas Barber, she was born in Bridgeton and had been a Millville resident for 41 years.  She had lived in Port Norris prior to that. 

            Darlene had been employed for over 20 years with the Prudential Insurance Company in Millville before her retirement. 

            She was an active member of the John Wesley United Methodist Church in Port Norris where she served on the Finance Committee, the Staff Parish Relationship Committee and as a member of the Chancellor Choir.

            She is survived by her son, Brian D. Barber of Millville and her two sisters, Vernetti Barber of Millville and Donna Dixon of Freehold.

            Funeral services will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 2523 Ogden Avenue, Port Norris, on Saturday, March 31st at 11 AM.  Friends will be received from 9 to 11 AM prior to the services at the church.  Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Cedarville.  Written condolences may be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
