            Gerald E. Uttley, 78, of Vineland and formerly of Bridgeton died unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at his home.

 

            Born in Bridgeton to the late Glen Uttley and Anna Ickes Uttley, he was the husband of the late Lula Gay Starkey Uttley. He had lived in Vineland since 2003 and prior to that he had resided in Bridgeton.

 

            Before his retirement, Gerald had worked for Leone Industries in Bridgeton for 14 years and prior to that for the Owens-Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton for 22 years.

 

            He is survived by his daughter, Nanette King of Bridgeton; a granddaughter, Tinishia Pickering of Bridgeton; a great-granddaughter, Destini Virgillo of Bridgeton and a brother, Russell Kenneth Uttley of Croydon, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife Lula Gay Utley and his brother, Glen Uttley.

 

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Wednesday, January 10th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
