Jeanne J. Gressman, age 88, of Bridgeton died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at South Jersey Hospital - Elmer. Born in Wilmington, Delaware on December 9, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Jaggard and the wife of the late Earl R. Gressman, Jr. She had been a Bridgeton resident since 1955 and prior to that had resided in Deepwater. Before her retirement she had been employed with Ethyl Corp. in Deepwater and also had worked at the Mainline Delicatessen in Hopewell. She had been member of the Cohansey Baptist Church in Roadstown for many years. Surviving are her two grandchildren, Jeanne M. Andrews and her husband Michael of Hopewell Twp. and Jeffrey Moore and his fiance' Christina Maxwell also of Hopewell Twp.; two great-grandchildren, twins Brooke and Keith Haberler; a brother, Frank Jaggard of Cinniminson; a son-in-law, Charles Lee Moore of Bridgeton and two close sisters-in-law; Naomi McDowell of Hopewell Twp. and Anita Rieti of Upper Deerfield Twp. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne Ethel Gressman-Moore; two sisters, Anna Hemmingway and Marion Walters and a grandson, Charles E. Moore. Graveside funeral services will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton on Monday morning, June 11th at 11 AM where the interment will follow the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Mrs. Gressman's memory be made to the Cohansey Baptist Church, 714 Roadstown Road, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
