            Thurman L. Hayman, 70, of Port Norris died on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Genesis-Meadowview Center in Williamstown.

 

            Born in Suffolk, VA to the late Robert Lee Hayman and Gladys Virginia Newby Hayman, he was the husband of the late Corrine Crosley Hayman. Thurman had been a resident of Port Norris and Dividing Creek for 60 years.

 

            Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville for 30 years.

 

            He is survived by five children, Crystal Smith and her husband, David of Vineland, Tanya Farrell of FL, Lena Lee Bibbs, Brian Handy of Millville and Jay Thurman of Baltimore, MD; a sister, Virginia Lee Hayman of Newfield; two brothers, Milton S. Jones and Timothy Broughton (Yolanda) of Sicklerville; his companion, Shirlene Tribble of Philadelphia, PA and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his wife, Corine, he was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Jones.

 

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, October 30th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
